Snowflake Farms - The Farm Project
More Information
This website is a fascinating place to come to see many types of flowers. This year we experimented with growing several types of Sunflowers. Wow, we were pleasantly surprised. The beautiful display of colors and types of sunflowers were a thing of joy to behold!
Snowflake Farms 2023
Provided by our senior Mother/Grandmother, we inherited many of her rose bushes when she moved to a warmer location. This year, it was amazing to see how many of her rosebushes came to life after a hard Winter. Here at Snowflake Farms, we also purchased several rosebushes locally and they are surpising us with beauty as well.
For those interested in unique gardening, one can find themselves, viewing interesting plants here. Our cold weather crops like Kale and even Lettuces grow like a "tree" and produce continually all season long. We don't pull those Spring crops but let them continue to produce and even have Kale that is now in it's second year and about 3 ft tall. What a sight!
